I had the chance to get another ultrasound last week because Baby M is tracking a little bigger then "normal." Nothing to worry about, it is common, but gave me a chance to see him again. Unfortunately Tim wasn't able to come but we have another one scheduled for the 13th and he will get to be there!
It was crazy how different he looked from the last ultrasound that was done around 22 weeks. I even said to the tech (who looked at me like I was crazy) "wow, he really looks like a real baby!" What I meant was, he looks like he could be born that minute and it was a little bit of a shock/reality check! At the beginning of the ultrasound he was being a little shy and hiding his face but by the end he started moving and we got some really great shots of his little pudgy cheeks and what I like to think of as his first smile! It truly was the best moment to see him, put a face to all of his movements in my belly for the last couple of months and know that soon he would be here to hold in person.
Here are some of the shots from the session, stay tuned for next time.
