Dogsitting

There is a pattern developing here...it seems that when we go on long trips we like to come home and reward ourselves by picking up a new dog! Getting back from the West Coast for the holidays was no different - what is different is that this time it is just temporary!

Tim's parents adopted a sweet teenager puppy in Oklahoma and for now we are taking care of him and teaching him some tricks before we take him up to Bainbridge this spring. We picked up sweet little Howie a week after we got home from our road trip and have fallen in love with the guy since. He is a very curious, energetic and super sweet dog who (if you can believe it) is glued to us more then the other two pups. He is a constant companion, hanging out in my office all day, cuddling up my lap at every chance I give him.

We are having so much fun teaching Howie some of the basic commands and socializing him with Murphy and Ruby. As of yesterday I think he has officially become a member of their pack, with Murphy and Ruby cuddling up to him for naps and chasing him around to play. He will certainly be missed by all of us when we have to leave him in WA but will be one of the luckiest dogs with Debbie and Ed to take care of him. They are anxious for his arrival and will have so much fun with Howie!

He is a chewer! Loves his bones.

He has become a loyal office companion
